The 812 Superfast replaced the F12 Berlinetta and upon its introduction in 2017 claimed the title of the most powerful and fastest front-engined Ferrari ever built. The 6.5 litre naturally aspirated V12 produces 795 ps and revs through to 8,900 rpm. On track the car behaves lighter and more agile than 1,790 kg would suggest. The Virtual Short Wheelbase system steers the rear wheels and gives the 812 the agility of a smaller car without sacrificing stability. The seven-speed DCT shifts 30 per cent faster on the way up and 40 per cent faster on the way down compared to its predecessor.
